Be careful of stairs

I would be very cautious if you are planning on using this device upstairs. This machine doesnt recognise stairs very well. Being quite heavy this causes a lot of damage. It left a big crack in my wall and then my front door.
I returned the device to dreame who took nearly a month to sort. Last 2 weeks of chasing them only resulting in we are waiting for a tracking number???
Anyway compensation for the repairs are still to be seen. I doubt they will do anything they seem not to be interested in helping.
So if you care about your property be cautious that it might fall down the stairs

I think you need to clean the sensors; I’ve had 4 Dreame robot vacuums and they’ve never acted like this.

Under normal circumstances, the robot should be able to detect stair edges correctly. To enhance safety, we recommend setting up No-Go Zones and Virtual Walls around stairways in the map, and regularly cleaning the cliff sensors to ensure optimal performance.
