Mopping fluid

I have a L50s Pro Ultra and it is doing a great job.
I wonder if the auto dispense cleaning fluid is just used when the mop pads are cleaned as i don't notice a clean smell after the floors have been mopped.
Should i be adding the fluid to the clean water dispenser tank too?  It is not clear in the user manual.

The auto dispense cleaning solution is dispensed automatically when needed including during the mop pad cleaning process. You shouldn’t need to add the cleaning solution directly into the clean water tank unless the manual specifically says to do so for your particular model. It’s also worth noting that you may not notice a strong cleaning-fluid smell after mopping as the solution is used in a controlled amount rather than heavily saturating the floor

Our cleaning solution is primarily used to clean the mop pads and help remove dirt and residue. The floors are then cleaned with the freshly washed mop pads, which provides the cleaning effect. As a result, the solution may leave a light, pleasant scent, but it is not designed to leave a strong fragrance on either the mop pads or the floor.

Under normal circumstances, there is no need to add additional cleaning solution directly to the clean water tank.
