Map issues

Just purchased, pretty happy, 2 map issues
1. It’s vastly expanded the size of my living room for some reason
2. It’s added a new room under my sofa in the same room.

Is there a way to fix without remapping?

May I ask if your device is an X60?

If so, when the map appears larger than the actual area, you can try disabling the "Floor Plan" option under the "Map Display" settings. After turning this option off, the map size should return to normal.

For the area under the sofa being recognized as a separate room, we recommend going to "Map Editing" and then selecting "Room Partition". From there, you can manually merge the incorrectly divided rooms.

Thanks, merging the rooms helped but the problem with the mapping at the bottom of my map/house is getting worse, it’s put new rooms in and connections that don’t exist. How do I fix please?

I'd factory reset and let it map the whole place again from scratch — quicker than trying to patch a map that keeps getting worse.
