[X50 Ultra Complete] X50 does not map all low spaces

The Ultra X50 Complete does not scan all low spaces in my room. I have a closet with a clearance of 12 cm but while mapping the room the X50 does not recognise and it shows up as a "wall", or room border. I did a few cleaning sessions and the robot does never go under that closet. Am i doing something wrong?

I don't think you can force the radar down during mapping — it only drops when it detects a low gap. Worth asking support at aftersales@dreame.tech if there's a setting for it.

Well, the thing is that it does not have to drop....the clearing is 12 cm. But for some reason the lidar does not scan the room below the closet. Eventually the closet ends up as a border/wall in the map.

Hello, for this issue, we recommend first using the Map Editing feature in the app to manually mark the low-clearance area.

In addition, please check whether Safe Coverage mode is currently enabled. If so, you may try switching to Extreme Coverage mode for testing.

When Safe Coverage mode is enabled, the robot lowers its LDS sensor and can clean underneath furniture with a clearance of approximately 98 mm to 135 mm. If the clearance under your furniture is between 89 mm and 98 mm, you may try enabling Extreme Coverage mode, which allows the robot to access lower areas for cleaning.

Please note that if there are protrusions, uneven surfaces, or obstacles underneath the furniture, using Extreme Coverage mode may cause scratches to the top of the robot. Therefore, we recommend ensuring that the area beneath the furniture is flat and free of obstructions before enabling this feature.

We hope this information is helpful.
