Missing a lot of spots

I have just purchased the matrix 10 ultra 3 days ago. My problem is that the robot misses a lot of spots in vacuum mode. Even in deep cleaning. Anything i can do to fix it? Also does not apply pressure in mop in areas that are dirty so they remain dirty

Brand new map can throw it out like that — I'd do a factory reset and let it remap from scratch, then see how it goes.

Regarding the missed areas during cleaning:

1. Before starting a cleaning task, please make sure all doors are open and any unnecessary obstacles are cleared away so the robot can move around freely.

2. Please check whether the missed spots always occur in the same area or in different areas.

① If the missed spots are always in the same area:
We recommend starting the cleaning task from that area and checking for environmental factors that may affect navigation, such as high thresholds, dark flooring, direct sunlight, or very narrow spaces. These conditions may cause the robot to miss certain areas.

② If the missed spots occur in different areas:
We recommend tidying up items on the floor, such as power strips, toys, slippers, and other objects. This can improve cleaning coverage. Frequent obstacle avoidance or collisions during operation may also result in missed areas.

3. Please ensure that people or pets do not closely follow the robot or block the LDS laser sensor while it is cleaning, as this may affect navigation and lead to missed spots.

Regarding the issue of not cleaning heavily soiled areas effectively:

Method 1:
If your floors are still relatively dirty during the initial period of use, you can reduce the mop washing interval in the Custom Cleaning Mode > Self-Cleaning Settings menu. The robot will return to the base station more frequently to wash the mop pads, helping them stay cleaner and improving cleaning performance on the remaining areas.

Method 2:
You can also use the Vacuum First, Then Mop option in the Custom Cleaning Settings and increase the suction power and cleaning passes to improve overall cleaning results.

For stubborn stains that are firmly attached to the floor, additional manual cleaning tools may be required initially. Afterwards, the robot can be used for regular maintenance cleaning. We also recommend cleaning the mop pads regularly to achieve the best mopping performance.
