Pool Robot Getting stuck

My Z1 pool cleaner keep getting thrown off course or stuck on our pool drain. We have not had a single successful clean because of this. It start mapping well, cover the perimeter fine and start back and forth but when I comes to our drains it either gets stuck or goes over it and gets thrown off course at the other side of it. They are not particularly big drains. Obviously too short for the obstacle avoidance to kick in and too short to navigate successfully.

Please someone suggest a fix because it is stopping me from loving this product. And I really want to love it.

Not come across that one myself, and there's no no-go zone trick I know of on the pool robots. If it's happening every run, I'd email aftersales@dreame.tech with your SN and a video of it hitting the drain.

Hello,

We recommend turning off the pool’s filtration system while the robot is cleaning. The additional suction created by the main drain may cause the robot to become stuck.

If necessary, you can also use the remote control or the retrieval hook to help reposition the robot and allow it to continue cleaning in a different area.

We hope this suggestion helps.

Kind regards.
