L40 Ultra AE Edge Cleaning

Two issues I am noticing with my robot vacuum. One the edges are never vacuumed. I am not sure if there is any setting for this?
Second, I just noticed for one of the sofa in 3D mode it recognised it as a wall which explains why it does not clean under the sofa. Is there a way to edit and say its not a wall? Maybe it’s done that due to the height but I am pretty sure it can fit under it.

Worth a look through the cleaning settings in the app for an edge option, but for the sofa I'd do a factory reset and let it remap from scratch — it only drops the radar when it spots a low gap, so a fresh map is your best shot at it going under.

Regarding the edge cleaning issue, please try the following steps:

1. Clean the edge sensor located on the right side of the robot using a soft, dry cloth. Also make sure that the sensor is not blocked by any dirt, debris, or other objects.

2. Try disabling Collision-Avoidance Mode and check whether the edge cleaning performance improves:
Three dots (top right) → Floor Cleaning Settings → Collision-Avoidance Mode

3. We also recommend setting the Mop Extend Frequency to "High Frequency" to improve edge coverage.

Regarding the sofa being recognized as a wall, we recommend running a full-house cleaning task in CleanGenius mode and checking whether the map updates correctly afterward. If the map does not update and the sofa continues to be identified incorrectly, it may be necessary to create a new map.
