[X60 Pro Ultra Complete] Disappointed 😞

I purchased the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra with high expectations. At this price point, I expected a premium, reliable and intelligent robot vacuum. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.

The biggest issue is navigation. The X60 struggles heavily with colorful surfaces and even standard wooden flooring. It often misinterprets parts of the floor as obstacles or, surprisingly, as carpet. This leads to constant stopping, confusion, and skipped areas. In my daily living space — which is the most important area for me — the robot becomes completely disoriented and fails to clean properly.

Carpet detection is also unreliable. The robot sometimes fails to detect carpets, or incorrectly identifies wooden flooring as carpet. This results in inconsistent behavior and makes the robot difficult to trust.

Cleaning time is extremely inefficient. The X60 can take more than 30 minutes to clean just 10 m² because it repeatedly stops, loses its route, or returns to the dock without any clear reason. This is not what I expect from a top-tier model.

What makes this even more disappointing is that I previously owned the Dreame L40 and was genuinely satisfied with it. Its only weakness was insufficient power on carpets. I upgraded to the X60 expecting a stronger, more advanced version — but instead, the top model turned out to be a downgrade in the areas that matter most to me.

To be fair, the X60 performs well on full-room carpets. However, my priority is the main living area with wooden flooring, a rug, and colorful elements. In this environment, the X60 becomes confused and practically unusable.

Overall: For this price, expectations are significantly higher than what the X60 delivers. The robot’s instability, navigation issues, and inconsistent behavior make it a major disappointment. I cannot recommend it for homes with mixed flooring or colorful surfaces.

Sorry to hear it's been like that, especially coming from the L40. That's one to put to support — email aftersales@dreame.tech with your SN and let them take a proper look at it.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed description of your experience. We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you have encountered, especially after upgrading from the L40 and having high expectations for the X60 Pro Ultra Complete. We completely understand how frustrating it can be when the robot does not perform as expected in your main living area.

To help improve the situation, we would first recommend cleaning the LDS sensor and the front camera carefully, as dust or smudges can sometimes affect obstacle recognition and navigation performance.

If the robot is incorrectly identifying parts of your floor as obstacles, you can also tap the obstacle marker on the map within the app and select "Ignore". This can help reduce repeated misidentification of the same area.

Regarding the cleaning time exceeding 30 minutes for a 10 m² area, we recommend checking whether there are any obstacles along the cleaning path that may be causing the robot to repeatedly reroute or slow down. Before starting a cleaning task, it is also helpful to remove items such as shoes, toys, charging cables, or other small objects from the floor.

In addition, if furniture placement, virtual walls, or no-go zones are creating narrow passages, the robot may spend additional time navigating these areas. In such cases, we recommend adjusting the furniture layout or modifying the virtual wall/no-go zone settings to provide more space for the robot to pass through.

We hope these suggestions will help improve the robot's performance. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback.
