Hello everyone, I recently purchased a Dreame X40 Ultra from an official reseller (Emag in Romania) and I’m facing serious Wi-Fi connectivity issues, even though the app is set to Romania. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Multiple Resets: I performed several factory resets. Separate Networks: I created separate 2.4 GHz networks to rule out interference from the 5 GHz band. SSID & Password: I ensured that the network name (SSID) and password do not contain any special characters. App Versions: I tested older versions of the DreameHome app on Android. Hotspot: I attempted to connect via a hotspot from another phone ( 2.4 GHz ). DMZ: I placed the device’s IP address in the router’s DMZ, but nothing changed.
Despite all these efforts, I continuously receive the error message:
"Unable to configure Wi-Fi connection – please contact customer support." I work in QA and have tried every possible solution I can think of. It seems the issue is related to software/configuration rather than hardware. Please help me—I’m at my wit’s end. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or if anyone has experienced similar issues!
