However, when the robot turns left or right, it can’t see what’s next to it and might hit them, as shown in the photo.
Does the Dreame A2, with its LiDAR system, also detect obstacles on the sides?

However, the minimum height of the obstacle must be higher than 5 cm, otherwise it cannot be identified. In addition, a collision avoidance plate is installed to avoid low objects.
There is also a "night low-speed safety mode" to reduce interference with animals at night. You can also set the "animal activity" area through the APP. After setting, the robot will actively avoid these areas to further reduce interference with animals and provide them with more freedom and safety.
