[L50 Pro Ultra] L50 PRO ultra, slow and not knowing what he is doing.




Coming from a very old Irobot Roomba 981 model, did the complete ground floor 44m2 in 58 min, just vacuum because mopping did not exist.

Purchased an L50 Pro Ultra, due the fact he can lower his lidar and going beneath the cabinets and does mopping.
Did the complete configuation and tested in Genuis mode and Manual mode, played around with the settings. Followed some guides from the X50, to disable enable settings.
All chairs are placed open, so he can go perfect under table, nothing on the floor except 3 little flat carpets and entry points.

Vacuum time 113min for 44m2, robot was spinning around, lidar was going up and down, side brush spins and stops again, like a brainless robot and not knowing what he is doing, so i cancelled the job, then going to his station took 10 mins to return.
Also bumping with his Lidar against cabinets and then he lowers the lidar sensor, setting has been enabled, don't know why he does that.
Skipping places, were he never vacuums.
Vacuum is set on standard and route also standard.

Docking is placed on a correct place, with enough space around, robot is hitting the dock from the side and ride over the little ramp, like he does not know, his home is there.

And the other problem is Battery drainage is huge, 100% to 33% for 44m2.

Seems the robot is a brainless device and really don't know what he is doing, is that normal for a dreame device, or maybe broken, if you could tell me please.
Also on the ground map, he created a new place, were he is unable to come, because there is a window and my garden.
I have a 30 days returning policy with the vendor. And my first Dream device.

I also have a roborock S6 MAXV and that thing is flawless and fast on ground level, (that robot is normally based for the 1th floor)
Neato D6 connected does the same speed as the roomba.

Update!, i removed the current card, let him detect the whole house again and vacuum for the first time again,(no mopping) like you see on the uploaded maps, 1, 2, 3 and finished, you see the intervals how long he does to clean.
1 part is 14m2 for 35min  thats 2,5 min for 1m2. 72% battery
2 part is  10m2 for 27min thats 2,7 min for 1m2. 61% battery
3 part is   12m2 for 31min thats 2,5 min for 1m2. 50% battery
Finish is    7m2 for 9min thats 1,2min for 1m2. 46% battery
Total 43m2 for 102min, thats 2,3 min for 1m2. .

Really don't understand why this device is so slow and still needs to mop!
So, based on your suggestion, i should return this device and swap it?

I updated my post with new measurements, so you suggest i contact the supplier and replace it? So, if i get another device, same model it should be fixed?
 
Reset settings amb remap. Delete cahe of app.

Already done, clear map, rescan, still the same. Also done a full hard reset (5 sec hold reset button on L50)
 
Look the device firmware (last update is 1911)

Upgraded to the latest version. Nothing else available. Device is a brainless chicken, keeps spinning around clueless, if he needs to return to the dock, he took a route i really don't understand.
